The PAST Foundation recently added its first dedicated fundraising role. As schools and nonprofits navigate funding changes and challenges, our newest colleague (Chief Advancement Officer Bridget Tharp) shares best practices for teachers who want to raise funds for STEM activities, classroom supplies and more.

Why to avoid Facebook for fundraising purposes and what to use instead (Give Butter or Give Lively)
Template language to remind donors that their gift may be matched by their employer
Peer-to-Peer fundraising: How to create friendly competition among other teachers (or perhaps your students) for your cause
Ideas for involving your students and saying thank you to your donors
