Teachers often lament that parents aren’t doing things at home that produce students with the habits and dispositions for authentic learning success. But how do we help parents do better? This session will explore tools that help parents raise kids who come to school ready for success in authentic learning projects. Let’s get beyond frustration with parents and move toward solutions that put us on the same side: developing young people who have what it takes to handle challenging authentic tasks with confidence and character.
