Summer Institute for Authentic Learning and Leadership

Sarah Redick holds a PhD in STEM Education, as well as master's degrees in Educational Technology and Middle Childhood Education, and a bachelor's degree in Chemistry. She has over a decade of teaching experience, at both the middle school and post-secondary levels. Dr. Redick is now the STEM education program specialist at the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, where she supports educators in implementing deeper learning practices such as creating transdisciplinary curriculum, practicing design thinking and problem-based learning, as well as crafting strategies for personalized learning. She also assists schools in leveraging community partnerships to provide real-world, authentic learning experiences for students.
